Data Analysis – Aggregate Report

Like all paleontologists, we need to put pieces of the puzzle together in order to figure out how our study location has changed over time. Using a stratigraphic column from your study location (with the horizons labeled) and putting the pie diagrams of the relative abundance of all of the fossils found at each horizon next to the column. As a class, observe the changes, and hypothesize what might have happened. Be sure to share your questions with the Fossil Finders scientists using our “Ask a Scientist” form!
